Pineda Matus 

Born in 1968 on the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, in a small town called Chicapa de Castro, Tomás Pineda Matus is today an indefatigable traveler who nourishes his plastic work with the findings he obtains in his visits to African and Asian countries.

With a production that includes collections such as those of the Museum of Contemporary Latin American Art, in Punta del Este, Uruguay, of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit in Mexico City and of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the architect has placed in the art that is produced in Oaxaca a series of motifs and faces of the world that place him in a very interesting state of his professional career, which he has been developing for almost thirty years.
