Francisco Toledo 

His full name was Francisco Benjamín López Toledo. He was born on July 17, 1940. From a young age he showed interest and concern for the arts. took his work abroad, at the Antonio Souza Gallery and at the Fort Worth Center, in Texas He was a sculptor, painter, engraver and founder of Graphic Arts of Oaxaca (IAGO), the Museum of Contemporary Art of Oaxaca and the Juchitán House of Culture , among other. For the most part, his works of art reflect the aesthetics of nature; particularly that of animals that are not conventionally associated with beauty. In January of this year, Forbes magazine considered him one of the most important creative Mexicans.  A social and political fighter Francisco Toledo dedicated much of his life to left-wing social struggles and promoting art and culture to the less privileged in Oaxaca. He also dedicated himself to preserving the heritage of his state and promoting textile design.
